Help Me Choose Between RTX 3060 and RX 9060 XT for Video Gaming and Editing

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between two options: the RTX 3060 12GB for around $300 and the RX 9060 XT (which is priced at $400+). I plan to use the GPU for both video editing and gaming. I'm located in Serbia and I found these options on a local site. Any advice would be appreciated! Also, my RX 580 is still holding up pretty well!

Honestly, the 9060 XT is just a no-brainer compared to the 3060. At the price of the 3060, you could almost grab a 5060, which is a better option altogether. Just skip the 3060, it's not worth it!

You'll have a much better experience with the 9060 XT for both gaming and video editing. Unless your editing software specifically leverages Nvidia's CUDA technology, you won't run into problems using the 9060 XT. It outperforms the 3060 pretty significantly in just about every aspect!

I just want to echo that the 9060 XT is way better than the 3060. Plus, it’s priced lower than you might expect. Check out local options; they're starting around $350, not the $400 you mentioned. Definitely a solid investment!

Yeah, but not in Serbia. Prices are higher here!

The RX 9060 XT is definitely the better choice here, especially if you're considering gaming performance. If possible, go for the 16GB version for added future-proofing. The 3060 is a bit outdated compared to the newer GPUs. Plus, you'd get better overall performance with the 9060 XT for video editing too!

What about video editing? I've heard Nvidia tends to handle that better.

True, but for most editing software, the 9060 XT should perform just fine!
