Looking for Software to Automatically Add an Enter After Scanning

Hey everyone! I've got a scanner (not sure of the model) that used to automatically send a double enter after scanning. Ever since I upgraded to Windows 11, it's now only sending a single enter. I've tried a bunch of things but can't figure out how to configure the scanner again. I'm wondering if there's any software that can pick up the scanner's input and automatically add an extra enter on the back end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Remember, barcode scanners act like keyboards. If it's interpreting the double enter as a single one now, consider adding as a suffix in your scanner's configuration.

It sounds like you just need to find the scanner's setup sheet. Most scanners let you configure settings by scanning specific barcodes.

Have you checked in with the vendor for your scanner? Generally, the ability to customize settings is built into the device itself.

You might want to figure out the brand of your scanner. Check the sticker on it or look it up in the device manager. Most scanners come with a setup sheet that you can use to reconfigure the settings.

Have you tried using Notepad? Open it up and scan into Notepad to see if it registers as a single or double enter. That might give you a clue.
