Why is my internet acting up after I built my PC?

I recently built my first PC and I'm having a frustrating issue. After I shut down my computer and turned it back on, all my apps suddenly stopped working online. My PC shows that I'm still connected to my WiFi, but when I try to browse, it seems like there's no internet access. I've attempted updating and resetting my network drivers, and also disabled my VPNs, but nothing seems to help. Oddly enough, after a restart, everything works for a few seconds before I lose connection again. I'm not sure what to do here. My specs are: 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12600KF, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, Prime B760M-A WiFi, Windows 11 Home, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB storage. Any advice on fixing this would be appreciated!

Check if your antivirus software is messing with your network settings. Sometimes they can interfere with how Windows handles network connections. Temporarily disable it and see if that fixes the problem.

It sounds like your DNS settings might be causing issues. Make sure your gateway IP address and DNS server addresses are set correctly. You can find this in your network settings.

Thanks for the tip! How do I check my DNS settings to make sure they're right?

Also, if you're using a VPN, they can complicate your network. Consider disabling it to see if it helps. Afterwards, ensure that your network settings are configured properly.
