Hey everyone! I'm a game developer using Unity 3D, and I'm looking to upgrade my RAM from 32GB to 64GB. My current RAM kit is not available anywhere, and I'm considering mixing it with a different kit. I found this new kit, but I'm unsure if mixing will work well. Would this be okay? Also, I use my PC mainly for game development and rendering, with some gaming on the side. Any advice would be appreciated!

If the timings of the RAM are similar, you should be fine mixing the kits. However, it's generally recommended to use the same brand and speed to avoid any compatibility issues. Just keep in mind that mixing RAM can sometimes result in less optimal performance than using a matched set.
Yeah, I totally get that, but it seems like the original kit is sold out everywhere right now. That's why I'm looking to mix!
