I'm trying to figure out if I should put a heatsink on my M.2 drive. Here's what I have: [M.2 Drive](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BCQS37R7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1). I'm considering this heatsink: [Heatsink](https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BNZZL795/?coliid=I26SN1SJLHQHTL&colid=2UGD82EX02K1C&th=1). Would the AB version be better since it's smaller? I'm not very familiar with SSDs and the technical side of things. Also, I have an MSI GAMING PLUS MAX B450 motherboard. Do I need to peel anything off the M.2 drive before I install it? I appreciate any help!

Honestly, you might not even need a heatsink. For everyday use, it’s usually fine without one. If you play high-end games, it could help a bit, but many folks run their drives without issues.
But since I game a lot, shouldn’t I consider it? What do you think?
