I just woke up and opened my Lenovo Ideapad 14ALC6, but it was stuck on a Windows update. Once the update completed, I found myself unable to log in. I managed to create a temporary user, but I can't enter the passcode for my main account. Is there any fix for this? I'd really appreciate any help since I have several assignments due, and I'd prefer a solution that doesn't involve a system reset. This is the first time this has happened, and my laptop was working fine just a day ago.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a glitch from that Windows update. First things first, try entering your full password instead of the PIN and check if the keyboard layout is correct at the lock screen. If typing your password doesn't work, try using the on-screen keyboard to rule out any input issues.
Also, is your main account linked to a Microsoft account? That might help in troubleshooting. Just a thought—can you type anything at all when you try to log in? If there's no response at all, we might be looking at a different issue with your keyboard.
If you still can't get in, try holding Shift while clicking Restart to access the Advanced startup options. From there, you can uninstall the latest quality update or use System Restore. If that doesn't work, boot into Safe Mode and create a new admin account to access your files. Just keep your BitLocker key handy in case it's needed during these steps.

I opened my laptop and noticed the battery was low. I checked for input issues, and I saw the message: "Your PIN is no longer available due to a change in security settings on this device." But when I try to set my PIN again, it just takes me back to the lock screen.
