I've recently taken my first steps into the Linux world and chose EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma after struggling with Arch Linux. I'm really keen on customizing my setup, often referred to as 'ricing'. So I'm curious if ricing on EndeavourOS is just as effective as it would be on Arch, especially when using Hyprland. Any thoughts?

Like others said, ricing is all about the desktop environment you choose. You can totally customize KDE Plasma on EndeavourOS just as you would on Arch. Just keep in mind that if you're struggling with Arch, jumping into Hyprland might not be the easiest route.
Lol, I thought the same thing when I first heard 'ricing'. But it's all about tweaking your desktop to look pretty! There are tons of resources out there, especially on platforms like Reddit.
Honestly, you can customize (or rice) most Linux distros just as well as Arch, even EndeavourOS. The main thing to keep in mind is that ricing is about the desktop environment, not the distro itself. If Arch is tough for you, Hyprland might be a bit tricky too, so it could be worth sticking with what you know for now.
Exactly! You can do amazing customizations on any DE, not just Arch. Just take it at your own pace.
Wait, what's ricing? I thought we were just talking about operating systems here!
Ricing is all about customizing your desktop look and feel. It's like giving your workspace a stylish makeover!
Haha, right? I had no clue what it meant until I looked it up!
