I recently started receiving a flood of alerts from Microsoft Defender, and it turns out our internal emails were being quarantined. Upon investigation, I found that our company's LinkedIn URL in our email signatures was flagged as a phishing link. I submitted a case to Microsoft, and they confirmed that the URL is safe. However, the problem persists for external recipients; their emails with that same signature are still being quarantined, even after Microsoft's confirmation. I'm waiting for support to respond, but does anyone have any additional suggestions beyond just feeling overwhelmed?

This happened at my job too! We sent out a PDF that had a link to our website in it, and Defender flagged it as phishing. I managed to release the emails from quarantine after verifying the link was safe, and then the issue resolved itself. So, releasing the quarantined emails might be a quick fix if you can. Hopefully, your problem will get sorted soon!
Wow, that sounds frustrating! Glad to hear you got it sorted internally, but it’s tough with Microsoft’s delayed response for external emails.
