Best Motherboards for PCIe Bifurcation with Ryzen 3900X

Hey folks, I'm on the hunt for a motherboard compatible with my new PCIe 4.0 x16 NVMe RAID expansion card that can handle 4 NVMe SSDs. It needs a full x16 slot connected directly to the CPU and support for PCIe bifurcation set to x4/x4/x4/x4 in the BIOS. I'm running a Ryzen 9 3900X, so I'm specifically looking for an AM4 board that meets these criteria. I know some X570 and B550 boards might support bifurcation, but their specs can be a bit vague. Has anyone managed to get a similar setup working? Any recommendations on confirmed boards would be super helpful! Thanks!

Generally, the PCIe lanes go directly from the CPU to the x16 slot on the motherboard. The NVMe RAID card should take care of the lane bifurcation itself, splitting the x16 lanes into x4/x4/x4/x4. Just a heads up, since your CPU lacks integrated graphics, don't forget to use a discrete GPU, and install it on the chipset side to avoid conflicts!

I’ve got the MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus board, but it doesn’t recognize my M.2 expansion card in the PCIe_3 slot. I'm really looking for recommendations on AM4 boards that will support my expansion card properly.
