I recently switched from Windows 11 to Pop!_OS on my new college laptop, and while I was excited at first, I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed now. I want to use the laptop mainly for creative tasks like video editing and digital art, but it seems like some of the applications I need aren't working properly on Pop!_OS. I'm also hoping to play Minecraft with mods and I just want everything to run smoothly. Could anyone recommend other Linux distributions or share some tips? My laptop has an HS processor with integrated AMD graphics, so I'm not sure what would work best for me.

Yeah, if you want to use Adobe, that's really tricky on Linux. You might consider dual-booting with another OS to have more options. But honestly, you probably should have done a bit more research before switching OSes!
Hey! What apps are you trying to get working? Usually, if an app is compatible with Linux, it doesn't depend on the distro as much, but installation methods can differ.
I'm mostly trying to use Blender and Paintstorm Studio. I had a bit of trouble with a smaller world-building app, but I finally got it running!
Right now, I'm focused on Blender and Paintstorm Studio, and I'll be using LibreOffice for papers. I'm just worried about document compatibility.
