Looking for GPU Buying Tips and Power Supply Recommendations

Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and aiming for a good experience at 1440p (but 1080p works too). I have a couple of questions: I'm trying to decide between the 9070 XT and the 5070 Ti. When should I buy one of these GPUs? Should I preorder or just wait until they're available? This is my first time buying one, so any advice would help! Also, what power supply should I use? My total budget is around $1500, so I have some wiggle room. I was thinking of spending about $100 on the power supply—I've heard 750W-850W is the way to go. Any suggestions?

Brand can play a role, but as long as you stick with reliable companies, you should be okay. Brands like Asus, Gigabyte, and EVGA are generally trusted. Just make sure to check reviews for the specific model you’re considering!

You should be fine just waiting until those cards become available. They’ve been pretty accessible lately. If you're in the US, the 850W Century II is a great power supply that offers excellent value right now.
