Are AliExpress Case Fans Worth the Risk?

I'm considering buying case fans from AliExpress but I have some concerns. If these fans fail, could they potentially harm my other components? Is this a genuine worry? Would you guys recommend purchasing fans from AliExpress to save some money?

It's pretty unlikely that a case fan failure will damage your other components; they just stop working. If you're not trying to cut costs to the absolute minimum, buying from AliExpress might not save you much anyway.

Why take the risk? You can easily find reliable fans from brands like Arctic or Thermalright that are available at local stores. How much are you really saving, like a dollar per fan? It's not worth it.

I'm getting the Deepcool CG530 4F case and really want to use Infinity fans. I thought about going with Arctic P12s or Thermalrights, but I'm trying to keep it all Infinity fans.

Buying from AliExpress is fine, but I'd suggest sticking with well-known brands like Thermalright or Arctic since they often have better prices there too. I bought four TL-K12s from AliExprss and had a good experience. Just make sure to check the reviews if you're looking at lesser-known models like Teucer.

I was looking at some Infinity fans too. I also checked Amazon and I feel like that might be a safer option.
