I've got a school laptop that used to belong to the school, and a few years back, the admins blocked all downloads (including games) because I wasn't keeping up with my work. Now that I own the laptop, I'm still facing issues because all downloads lead to a message saying, 'This app has been blocked by your administrator.' I can't even screenshot the error to show anyone. I really just want to download the stuff I need for school without these annoying restrictions. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?

If the laptop was purchased by your parents and you now own it, it’s possible that it was never fully released from the school’s management system. You might want to check with whoever sold it to you to see if you can clear those restrictions. If not, you could consider small claims court to address this, especially if you feel it's unfair.

Yeah, I'm not sure how the purchase went down exactly. My parents took care of it, but I do know we get to keep the laptops after year 10. I think that’s the case here, yet the IT still needs authorization from the teachers to remove restrictions, and they’re not being very helpful.
