Hey everyone, I'm really running out of options here. My PC keeps freezing up at random times. When it happens, it doesn't completely freeze; I can still move the mouse and minimize or maximize windows. However, nothing in the task manager responds, and all browser tabs become unresponsive. I can't open or close apps properly, although the Windows menu opens. Unfortunately, I can't shut down the PC normally, so I have to do a hard reset. After the reset, everything seems fine until it freezes again, often when I'm not really doing anything. I can still play games like Borderlands 4 and Elden Ring without any issues. This started happening more frequently throughout the day, and it seems like it began after I updated my NVIDIA drivers. I've used DDU to wipe my old drivers, but the problem persists. I've even recorded a video showing the issue, which you can check out [here](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xgIdBWoh86Q). Any thoughts? Is this a hardware or driver issue? I can provide logs or event viewer info if necessary!

Hey, I feel your pain! You might want to try running a couple of commands to check your hard drive for errors. Open up the command prompt and type in: "chkdsk C: /f /r" to check for bad sectors. After that, run "sfc /scannow" to scan your system files and replace any corrupted ones. Just search for 'Command Prompt' next to the Windows logo to find it. Let me know how that goes!
Good luck with it!
I've tried that already; it found some corrupt files, but it didn’t seem to be connected to my crashes.
