Experiencing Low Performance and Micro Stuttering in Games – Need Help!

I've been having some serious performance issues since upgrading to my RTX 5060 TI about two months ago. My setup includes an R5 5600X, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB NVME SSD, but I'm still struggling to get decent frame rates in various games. For instance, in Dune Awakening, I usually get around 60-65 FPS with frustrating dips below 50 FPS, and in Dying Light, I get above 70 FPS but often experience annoying micro stutters that drop my performance under 45 FPS. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting, including reapplying thermal paste to my CPU, reseating my GPU, updating drivers and BIOS, and tweaking various settings in my BIOS. I've checked the power plan in Windows and set Nvidia's performance settings to maximum, but nothing seems to help. I'm really stuck! Is it possible my motherboard isn't playing nice with my GPU or is there something else I might be missing?

Honestly, from what you described, your performance might be expected given your hardware, especially if you’re playing demanding games at higher settings. Have you checked what resolution you're gaming at? Additionally, make sure that you’re not encountering any CPU bottlenecking as well.

How many PCIe power cables are you using for your GPU? It's vital that they're all independent and not daisy-chained, as that can sometimes impact performance.

I only have one 8-Pin PCIe power cable for the GPU, and it is independent from everything else.
