I'm a final-year student looking to dive into AWS certifications like CCP, DEV, and MLE through free courses. In my country, skills related to AWS are really sought after in job interviews, even if platforms like LeetCode aren't as popular here. I'm seeking advice on how to approach these courses: How long should I expect to spend completing them? Do you take notes and review them like in school, or is just watching the courses and doing the assignments enough?

I used CloudGuru to prep for my certification. Here’s a tip: try to build something on AWS as you learn. You’ll forget a lot of the theory over time, but the struggles you face while setting up things like CloudFront with S3 or configuring security groups to work with RDS will stick with you. Those real experiences make the material more memorable. Good luck with your AWS journey!

Did you take notes to help with the theory, or was watching the videos enough for you?
