Hey everyone! I'm planning to build my first PC and I have a budget of around $2,000. After doing some research, I've put together what I think is a solid build, focusing on price-to-performance with some quality upgrades. I'm not really into flashy RGB setups, so I'm aiming for a more understated look. Here's what I came up with:

- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU**: PNY 5070 Ti
- **Motherboard**: MSI B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
- **Cooler**: Noctua NH-D15
- **RAM**: G.skill Flare X5 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL36
- **SSD**: Crucial T500 2TB PCIe 4
- **Case**: Fractal Design North XL ATX
- **PSU**: be quiet! 12 M 1000W

I'd love to hear your thoughts and if you have any advice or suggestions!

Just a heads up, hitting 144Hz at 4K with that setup might be a bit challenging without some serious upscaling. For 1440p ultrawide, though, you should be in a good spot!

I think as long as I can get around 144 FPS on the 1440 ultrawide, I'll be satisfied. Anything above 80 on 4K should work for me!

I've tweaked your build for better price-to-performance. You should have about $250 left over for aesthetics. Consider investing that towards an OLED monitor instead — it'll enhance your gaming experience! Here's my updated list: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w49cwY)

Nice suggestions! Do you think the boost from the 9800X3D is worth the extra cash compared to the 7800X3D?

If you want to save some cash, consider switching to a 5080 GPU. I swapped for a Lancool 217 case, which also has a nice look. Here’s my adjusted build link: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3swcwY) It's slightly more budget-friendly and might boost performance!

Sounds good! Do you really think the 5080 is noticeably better than the 5070 Ti?
