Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a situation with my GPU. I'm using an EVGA G+ PSU and accidentally plugged in one correct cable and one wrong one. Thankfully, there were no funny smells or burnt pins, but I did notice that the GPU still shows rainbow text from the mobo power. I'm not sure if the card was working before, but when it's plugged in, the system posts and I see the fan spinning, but it won't boot. Do you think my GPU is toast? By the way, I was using a Corsair RMX cable when I made this mistake.

It sounds like your GPU might just not be working properly, but if there was no weird smell or visible damage, it’s hard to say for sure. Usually, if something's actually fried, you’ll notice those signs. I think you might just need to switch to two of the correct EVGA cables and see if that does the trick!
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. Try using two of the actual EVGA cables. There's a possibility that it might work if the GPU isn’t damaged. Just make sure to double-check all your connections as well!
