I'm trying to find a reliable method for securely sending and receiving sensitive information like passwords and documents (for instance, Social Security cards and driver's licenses) using a one-time-use link. I appreciate how password.lock functions for sending temporary passwords, but I'm concerned about privacy and what happens to the information afterward. Are there any recommendations for services or tools that can help with this?

Traceless is another option that works really well for these kinds of tasks.
If you don't need something immediate, I'd suggest the classic method: use registered mail with a signature required. For one-off situations, GPG (GNU Privacy Guard) with keys stored on YubiKeys works pretty well too. It's secure and dependable!
Check out doqex.com. They have a secure mail gateway, although they might be limited to the UK and EU only.
We use Bitwarden because it features a secure send option that allows you to set passwords and expiration dates for secure notes. It’s convenient for our needs!
I’ve been curious about Bitwarden too! Does it allow for sending links that a client can use to securely upload documents to us?

Totally agree! Just make sure you follow any legal requirements for handling that data. It’s crucial not to keep it longer than necessary.
