Why Won’t My New PC Boot Up?

I just bought a new PC a few hours ago and followed some advice to set the SSD as the primary boot device. However, after restarting, I'm stuck on a message saying "Reboot and select proper boot device." Can anyone help me figure out how to resolve this?

Did you build it yourself or did someone else put it together? If the store set it up, they might have skipped the OS installation.

No, the store people built it for me.

It sounds like you might need to install an operating system like Windows or Linux on your SSD. Without an OS, your PC won't be able to boot up properly. Try getting a bootable USB installation drive to set that up.

I have no clue how to do that! Any tips?
