Hey folks, my old system with an 11th gen i7 has died, and Newegg.ca has given me an $800 credit that I need to use by October 10th. I know I won't be able to build a complete rig with that budget, but I'm keen on getting the essential components to start with, specifically a CPU and motherboard. It's been a while since I built a PC, and I've noticed that AMD is currently dominating the market compared to Intel. I'm open to suggestions for a solid CPU and motherboard combo that will serve me well for at least five years. I haven't used an AMD setup in about 12 years, so I'd love to hear your recommendations for getting the best value for my money. Thanks a bunch in advance!

Check out this PCPartPicker list I made for you: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/mvBrKq. It should give you a good idea of some solid components that won't break the bank!
What do you think about AsRock and Team group products? They seemed budget-focused before, so have their quality improved? I'm curious if they're reliable now.
