Hey everyone! I'm really new to building PCs and have always wanted to try it. I want to get into gaming on PC because there are so many titles on Steam that I can't play on my PS5. I'm hoping to keep my budget around $1,000, though I'm okay if I go slightly over. I'd like a case that's light blue or white, but I care more about functionality than looks. I've checked out PCPartPicker, but it's all a bit overwhelming for me. Any advice or help would be appreciated!

You can definitely build a solid gaming PC for $1,000! Check out this suggested build:
1. **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X - $168
2. **CPU Cooler:** ID-COOLING SE-214-XT ARGB - $17.98
3. **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI - $119.99
4. **Memory:** Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 - $86.97
5. **Storage:** Silicon Power UD90 2 TB NVME SSD - $95.97
6. **Video Card:** ASRock Steel Legend OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB - $389.99
7. **Case:** Montech X5M Mini Tower - $54.90
8. **Power Supply:** Apevia Prestige 600 W - $54.99
**Total: $988.79**. This build should handle most games well, but you could change a few parts to save some cash if looks aren't a priority!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m leaning towards this build, but what operating system should I use? I’m not sure about Windows 10 vs Windows 11.
Just a heads-up, the UD90 SSD uses QLC flash, which isn't as durable as TLC flash drives! You might want to consider alternatives like the Kioxia Exceria Plus or WD Blue for better longevity.
