I've been using Pop_OS on my HP 250 G6 laptop, and I'm experiencing occasional display tearing, which is kind of annoying but not a huge issue since it goes away quickly. I also noticed that the sound is quieter and lower quality compared to when I was running Windows. I didn't manually install any drivers, and I'm not sure if I should be looking for new speakers, display drivers, or something else entirely. Any advice on how to resolve these issues? Are these fixable?

A good first step would be to check for updates. You can do this by opening the terminal and running these commands: `sudo apt update` and `sudo apt upgrade`. This might help if there are any improvements in the kernel that can address your hardware compatibility.
I ran those commands, and it looks like I got some messages about "Backing up old kernel". Does that mean the kernel was updated?
