I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600x with an RTX 3070, and I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700x. The upgrade would cost me $50. I'm curious if this change is worth it, especially since I don't plan to move to AM5 until next year.

If you're just looking to primarily game, maybe hold off on the 5700x. I've seen some decent deals for the AM5 setup, so it might be worth saving up for a bit longer instead of making this move.
Definitely check out the 5700x3d instead! It's more powerful, but I get that it's a bit pricey. If you can hold off, it might be the better option in the long run. 50 bucks seems low for the 5700x, though!
It really depends on what you're using your PC for. If it's primarily for gaming, then you might be fine sticking with the 5600x. You might want to consider waiting for better options if you plan on upgrading again next year.
Yeah for gaming.
Honestly, I wouldn't say it's worth it, especially for gaming. You might not see a significant performance boost for the price you're paying.
Ok thx!
It kinda expensive. I don't want to pay a lot for AM4 since I'm planning to switch to AM5 next year.
