I'm working on a PC build with a budget of $1000 and here's what I've selected:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **GPU:** XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Core Radeon RX 7600 8 GB Video Card
- **Motherboard:** ASRock B650M PG Lightning Wifi Micro ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **RAM:** Crucial Classic 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-5600 CL46 Memory
- **Storage:** PNY CS2241 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
- **Power Supply:** Montech CENTURY II 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
(Note: I apologize if the part names are a bit off, I'm copying from PC Part Picker.) I'm planning to make my own case, so that's not a concern for me. I just want a setup that can handle games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Resident Evil 2 at 1080p with 100hz. I would really appreciate your feedback on whether this build looks good or if there's anything I could improve. Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't go for a previous generation 8GB GPU. I recently built a similar setup and found that opting for a newer GPU really made a difference. Keep in mind, prices vary depending on where you're buying from. Here’s a link to a wishlist I created that might inspire you: [link].
Definitely aim for a newer generation! It’ll help future-proof your build.
You might want to consider upgrading to 2x16GB sticks of RAM with 6000 CL30 or better. Also, I’d recommend checking out the newer GPUs; something like the 9060xt instead of the 7600 could be a better choice without a huge price jump. Oh, and don't forget a CPU cooler! I forgot mine when I built before too.
I totally forgot about the cooler! I'm looking at the ARCTIC Freezer 36 CPU Cooler for that.
Thanks for the insights! I'll check into the RAM options.
Thanks for the suggestion! For GPUs, should I prioritize newer generations or look for something with more than 8GB?
