I'm looking to replace my Intel Arc A750 graphics card because I've found it to be quite inconsistent. I'd like to get a non-Arc GPU that can at least match or even better the performance of the A750. Any suggestions around the $300 mark?

You could also try a used or lower-tier brand 3070. I've seen them on Newegg for under $270 in the USA. They still hold up pretty well!
Consider the 9060XT with 16GB of VRAM. It's the only budget card that's really worth it now. Plus, with FSR4 tech coming, it enhances performance significantly. Here's a cool video that explains it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApAOw29_QCE
If you're open to buying used, the RTX 3080s are going for $350 or even less these days. Just make sure to check the condition.
You might want to consider the RX 7700 XT. I've seen it available new for around $320. It's a solid choice that should perform well for most gaming needs.
Check out the Gigabyte Gaming OC RX 7600XT. It's a great card, and I found it on Jawa for a decent price. Worth looking into!
Yeah, the 7600XT is impressive, especially for 1080p gaming!

FSR4 sounds like a game changer! Definitely something to think about for the future.
