Hey everyone! I've run into a frustrating problem with my laptop. I can't connect to any of my previously paired Bluetooth devices, and I can't seem to discover any new ones either. All I see are just unknown devices, which is really odd. This issue started popping up about a week ago, and I've already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps, like checking for updates, uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, and restarting the Bluetooth services. Sometimes, a device name will show up, but most of them are still listed as 'Unknown device.' I understand the struggle. When I had a similar issue, I went directly to Acer's support page to grab the right Bluetooth drivers for my model. If you've found a past version, like from 2022, it's a good idea to try that after uninstalling the current driver.
Have you tried a complete uninstall of your Bluetooth adapter? Go into Device Manager, remove the Bluetooth adapter, and make sure to uninstall the drivers as well. Then reboot your laptop. Sometimes that can reset the connection properly and get things working again.
To add onto that, once you uninstall and reboot, check in Device Manager to see if the Bluetooth adapter is listed correctly. If it says 'Generic Bluetooth Adapter' or has any warning icons, you might need to download the specific drivers from Acer's site for your laptop model. They can sometimes have issues with generic drivers.
