Hey everyone! I'm trying to set up a reverse proxy ingress for my local k3s cluster, and I need something that is easy to configure and works with self-signed certificates. I've already tried using nginx ingress and traefik but they didn't quite fit my needs. Any suggestions?

About nginx, you can use a self-signed certificate directly or with cert-manager to manage it from a local CA like smallstep. Just make sure to set up a local DNS/hosts entry that points to nginx, plus you'll need a load balancer for exposure. Also, keep in mind that traefik is already included in k3s along with servicelb, which might have some limitations.
Why didn't nginx and traefik work for you? Could you share more about the issues?

Nginx was consuming too many resources for my setup. Traefik wasn't connecting to my container apps when I used self-signed certificates.
