I'm in need of a new graphics card and I'm trying to decide between the 5060 Ti and the 7800 XT. The 4070 model is way too pricey in my country, so it's not an option. I'll mainly be gaming, but I also do some light 3D modeling and rendering, along with using programs like After Effects and Photoshop. I'm not too concerned about ray tracing features, but they are nice to have. What should I go for?

For what you need, the 5060 Ti would really benefit your 3D work. Plus, the DLSS and newer technology will keep it relevant for some time. Just make sure you grab the 16GB version if you can!
I just got the 5060 Ti and it feels like the best choice! Plus, it really boosts my workflow for 3D modeling and rendering. Gotta keep my ego up, you know?
If you're doing any 3D modeling and rendering, definitely go for the 5060 Ti! The CUDA cores will speed up your work significantly compared to the 7800 XT. Plus, if you can get the 16GB version, that’d be even better for productivity.
Exactly! The 16GB version is key for handling those larger projects.
Overall, you can't go wrong here, but if you're on a budget and need something versatile, the 5060 Ti 16GB is the way to go! It's around 15-20% slower in raw gaming compared to 7800 XT, but DLSS really helps close that gap.
I've found that the 7800 XT has great performance for gaming, but the 5060 Ti has the edge when it comes to applications like After Effects. If you need it primarily for productivity, 5060 Ti all the way.
It really boils down to the price difference between them. If they're pretty close in price, you might want to lean towards the 7800 XT due to its overall speed. But if the 5060 Ti is cheaper, it's a solid option too!
Yeah, the 7800 XT is like €20-30 more than the 5060 Ti, which could tip the scales.
Hey, what version did you get? I've been hearing the 16GB version is the best!
