Is It Possible for Someone to Listen in on My Calls with a Basic Phone?

Hey everyone, I have this really old school phone from the late 90s or early 2000s—no apps, no internet, just a simple device. Lately, I've been getting this weird feeling that someone might be listening in on my calls, as if they can hear both sides of the conversation. Is that actually possible with such a basic phone?

It depends! If it’s a landline, then yeah, someone could listen in. But since you mentioned it’s a basic cell phone, it’s probably unlikely. Those older cellular devices aren’t the easiest to hack into. Maybe you’re picking up some interference or just feeling extra paranoid? Might be worth checking out!

I get where you’re coming from! But I wonder what made you feel that way? I mean, if it was a really old cordless phone, then there’s a chance, but modern phones usually have better security. That said, I totally understand wanting to be sure. If it’s your grandmother’s phone, maybe ask her and your mom directly what they’ve experienced!
