I'm considering purchasing a prebuilt gaming PC for $1,637 (including tax). It features a Ryzen 9600X CPU, an RTX 5070 GPU, a 1TB SSD, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an 850W PSU. However, I'm unsure if this is a good deal. Does anyone have insights on whether this would be a solid choice for a first PC?

It's definitely a decent system, but I think it's overpriced. If you're just starting out, you might find better value in building your own or looking for sales on similar parts.
Honestly, that price seems pretty high for what you're getting. You might want to check out the individual parts on a PC part picker to see if there’s a huge markup on this prebuilt. If you can post more specs, folks here could give you a clearer picture of whether it’s a good deal.
I’d say it’s way too expensive for a prebuilt. You can often save quite a bit by sourcing the parts individually. Just a thought!
