What’s the best GPU I can get without breaking the bank?

I'm on the hunt for a new graphics card and want to make sure I get something that'll be good for the future. I'm located in the UK and it's quite tough finding cards in stock—most options are sold out. I initially thought about getting a 4060, but it only has 8GB of VRAM, which seems a bit limiting. I've heard some good things about the 6700 XT, but those are hard to come by as well. The 6750 looks great but is a bit pricey for my budget. I mainly play single-player games like Oblivion Remaster and might try out iNzoi eventually. Any recommendations would be super helpful!

If you can find a 7700 XT, that’s a solid choice! They pack a good punch for the price, but availability can be hit or miss.

I still have my 6700 XT and it performs really well. You might want to check for used cards; I’ve seen some going for a decent price around here.

You might want to wait for the RTX 5060 or 5060 Ti to drop. For now, anything at 8GB VRAM will be okay for 1080p, but if you're planning for the future, aim for something with at least 12GB.

Absolutely! A 12GB card would be much better for future-proofing. I've heard the 5070 can handle a lot, too.
