I bought a new PC and a monitor off Facebook Marketplace, but my new PC doesn't have a VGA port. I'm looking for a way to connect my VGA monitor without having to spend money on an adapter right now because I'm currently unemployed. Is there any creative workaround or mad scientist solution?

It’s tough finding a way around this without an adapter. You could look into buying a cheap VGA to HDMI adapter or a cable. They usually aren’t too pricey, and it’s likely the most straightforward fix.
You might as well spend the $5 on an adapter if you can. Trying to invent a way around it isn’t going to be cost-effective in the long run. It’s a smart investment!
Honestly, there isn't really a way to do this without an adapter. They're pretty affordable—around $5 or so—and it's probably the simplest solution. Trying to rig something together is unlikely to work out well.
I get you want to avoid spending money, but adapters are really cheap. If you've got the cash for a PC and monitor, a small investment in an adapter seems reasonable.
Seriously, adapters are super cheap! You're asking for alternatives, but I can’t think of anything that will work reliably without one. It's worth considering since you have the money!
Yeah, if you actually have the cash, you should definitely go for a proper adapter instead of trying to piece something together. It'll save you time and headache!
