Hey everyone! I've been having trouble updating my laptop to Windows 11, so I'm exploring the idea of switching to Linux instead. As an electrical engineer graduating soon, I've heard good things about Pop!_OS, especially for STEM professionals. However, I have some experience with other Linux distros as well. I'd love some recommendations on which Linux distribution might suit my needs best. Thanks in advance for your help!

Check out DistroSea! It lets you try out different distros directly in your web browser, which is super convenient. Just remember, most distros share the same underlying applications, so it’s really about what’s pre-installed. I’d say Mint is a solid choice since it feels a lot like Windows 10, making it easier to adjust your habits.
If gaming is a priority for you, consider Bazzite. For stability, Debian is great. I went with Debian myself—it's stable and I've had zero issues. Plus, I can still game on it!

I’m also leaning towards Linux Mint. I just transitioned to it and it’s been smooth so far. Plus, I’m starting to learn Scribus to replace Adobe—hopefully, I can ditch it altogether!
