Is it common for a Microsoft cloud PC to lose data after freezing?

I recently signed up for a Microsoft cloud PC, and after a few weeks, it froze up on me. I submitted a support ticket, and while it got restored, I've lost all my installed apps and files. Now I'm waiting for them to recover my data. I thought big companies like Microsoft would prevent issues like this. Is this kind of data loss normal for a cloud PC?

There have been some outage issues with Microsoft lately, but it's not just them—many major online services have been experiencing problems. I’d say it’s not completely uncommon for unexpected glitches to occur. Just be cautious!

True, it seems like cloud PCs can act like public computers at times. Just be ready for the unexpected.

Exactly, but how often does this really happen? It feels pretty unprofessional on their part.
