Will My RAM Work with a Ryzen 7 7700 and B650M Motherboard?

I recently purchased the TUF GAMING B650M-E motherboard on sale without checking the Qualified Vendor List (QVL). I already have a RAM kit, the Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2x16) 6000 MHz CL30, which is listed under the 9000 series but not under the 7000 series. I haven't bought my CPU yet, but I'm considering the Ryzen 7 7700. Now that I've seen my RAM isn't listed, I'm unsure about compatibility. Should I stick with the 7700, or would it be safer to go for the Ryzen 5 9600X instead? What do you think I should do?

You really shouldn't stress about it! The sockets match, so you should be good to go. If it eases your mind, you could always update your BIOS before diving in with the new CPU and RAM.

Just to clarify, are all AM5 sockets compatible with this RAM?
