I'm having trouble figuring out how to change the batteries in my Acer OMR241 ergonomic mouse. I've been trying to open it for about 30 minutes now, but I can't find the right way to do it. The manual says to "press and slide the cover to open it," but I've pressed and slid everything that looks like it could be a cover, and nothing seems to work! If anyone can guide me on this or suggest another place to ask, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

To get to the battery compartment, flip your mouse over. You should see a small panel under the back half. Look for a notch or an arrow, then press down and slide it toward the back to open it. The batteries will need to go in with the + and - aligned as indicated inside.
It turns out you can't actually replace the batteries. This model has a built-in 300mAh lithium battery that you just charge through the USB-C port instead of changing batteries. So, when the charge runs out, just plug it in and recharge!
You might be looking for a regular battery compartment, but this mouse has an internal battery. If it’s not holding a charge at all, that might be a different issue, but generally, no need to replace it.

If that panel won’t budge, maybe check out some tech support forums or even mouse reviews for visuals; they could really help you out!
