Why isn’t my WD Black SN7100 SSD showing up in BIOS?

I recently bought a WD Black SN7100 SSD, but it's not appearing in the BIOS of my ASRock Z590 Pro4 motherboard. I've already updated the BIOS, and I'm fairly certain I don't need any driver updates. What should I try next to troubleshoot the issue?

If it doesn't show up in Disk Management either, make sure that the SSD is properly connected. It might help to reseat it in the M.2 slot and double-check your connections.

Have you checked your disk management in Windows? Sometimes, new SSDs don't show up in BIOS but can be recognized there. Just type 'Disk Management' into the search bar to see if it's listed.
