My PC is Extremely Slow and Won’t Boot Properly – Help!

I've been using my HP Victus 15L for about three years now, and it's starting to run extremely slow, especially with internet speeds dropping to about 0.04 Mbps for both upload and download. When I attempt to boot into safe mode or BIOS, I only see a black screen, even though the RGB lights and fans are running. Is there a way to fix this issue, or is my PC beyond repair?

You might want to create a Windows installation media flash drive, ideally using another computer if possible because it could take forever on yours. You'll need an 8GB flash drive to download the Windows 11 installation files. Once you have that, plug it into your PC, boot into BIOS, and adjust the boot order to prioritize the flash drive. This will allow you to set up a fresh install of Windows. Just make sure your Windows product key is associated with your Microsoft account, as it should be tied to your motherboard.

Unfortunately, my PC shows nothing when I try to boot into BIOS.

Try opening Task Manager by pressing Control, Alt, and Delete at the same time. Check if any of the categories are running at 100%. A common issue is saving too many files directly to your desktop, which can slow down your login time significantly since Windows loads everything into RAM. If you have heavy folders like documents or pictures on your desktop, consider moving them to a different location and just creating shortcuts on your desktop instead.

I checked and nothing is at 100%, but my CPU usage is at 81%.
