I have a Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 that's currently under warranty, and I'm wondering if that means I can get any discounts or help with replacing the HDD with an SSD. Also, is it possible to get a free servicing or thorough cleaning for my keyboard under this warranty? Essentially, I want to make my laptop last longer!

It really depends on the Lenovo warranty you have in your area. Different regions might have different policies, so it's best to check directly with Lenovo support to see what services or discounts you might qualify for. However, keep in mind that free cleaning usually isn't covered under any standard warranty from manufacturers.
Replacing the HDD with an SSD is considered an upgrade you make, which means it's typically your responsibility if something goes wrong with the new part. I've worked with a lot of brands like Lenovo, and they've not offered discounts for SSD installations that I’ve seen. Plus, cleaning would usually be a paid service, not covered by the warranty.
I appreciate the info! Guess I’ll have to look into the potential costs going forward.
