I've recently upgraded my GPU to a 5070 from a 5700XT and I'm wondering if it's a good idea to also upgrade my Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 5800X. I mostly game at 1440p and want to maximize the settings so I can fully utilize my 200Hz monitor!

Absolutely, upgrading from a 3600 to a 5800X will give you a substantial performance boost, especially in 1080p and 1440p gaming. I made a similar jump and noticed a significant difference in my frame rates and overall gameplay. With the new GPU, it'll be even better!
