Trouble with Directlo64.sys Error on Startup

Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue when I boot up my computer. I keep getting a message that says, "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart for you." The stop code listed is PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA (0x50), and it mentions that something failed with Directlo64.sys. After it restarts, I'm just stuck on a black screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It sounds like you might have a driver issue related to PassMark's Burn-in Test, which is what Directlo64.sys is associated with. If you don't need that driver, I recommend doing a clean Windows install to get everything back to normal. It might be your best bet since you're facing this black screen problem too.

What's the process for a clean Windows install if I can't get past the booting stage?
