How can I remove a motherboard screw that’s blocked by a non-removable HDD bay?

I'm trying to swap out my computer case, but the non-removable HDD bay in my budget case is obstructing a screw on my motherboard. This makes it impossible to take the motherboard out. To make things even trickier, there are some SATA ports just above the screw. Does anyone have suggestions on how to tackle this issue?

Have you thought about using a hacksaw? It might sound extreme, but if that HDD bay is really stuck and you're not using it, you could carefully cut it away to access the screw.
