I'm building a system with a 7800X3D processor and a 5070TI graphics card, and I'm trying to choose a power supply unit (PSU). I've been considering the Corsair RM850x since it's popular and frequently recommended, or the Seasonic Focus GX 750, which has a reputation for reliability. I'm looking for a well-tested PSU with a strong reputation. Are these two solid choices, or is there something better out there? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check out this tier list for PSUs. It's compiled from rigorous testing by professional sources like Cybenetics and HWBusters, so it’s not just some random opinion. The RMx series is excellent, and I believe it's even better than the current version of the Focus GX from Seasonic. Both are top-notch, so you can’t go wrong with either. Just keep in mind your budget and cable options when making the final decision.

Thanks for the advice! By the way, can you explain the notes about "inrush current" and "transient response" for the Seasonic Focus? Are they a cause for concern? I liked the amazing cables from Seasonic, but those notes have me a bit worried.
