Is My 850W Power Supply Enough for My New Build with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RX 7900XTX?

I'm planning to upgrade my PC during Black Friday and I'm considering a new CPU and RAM setup. I'm looking at the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and G.Skill Flare X5 with 64 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. I already have the rest of the components needed. My main concern is whether my EVGA 850W power supply will be sufficient for this build. The estimated total wattage for my setup is about 692W, but I know the CPU can peak at 157W and my RX 7900XTX can draw around 405W at max performance. Should I invest in a higher wattage PSU, or can I stick with my current 850W without risking any issues?

Your 850W power supply should be good for that setup! It may seem close with the estimated wattage, but it's important to remember that power supplies can handle peaks without a problem, especially if they're of good quality. Just keep an eye on your system's performance after the upgrade, but you should be fine!
