I'm building my first system with an AMD processor and I've chosen the Ryzen 9 9800X3D along with a Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro motherboard. Is there anything specific I need to install or update to ensure everything runs smoothly, such as chipset drivers, BIOS updates, or setting adjustments like EXPO? I want to do everything right from the beginning.

Definitely update the BIOS first to make sure everything's compatible and runs well. After that, set up the EXPO or XMP settings in the BIOS to get your RAM working at its optimal speed. Also, don't forget to download and install the AMD drivers from their official site, and make sure your Windows is up to date. Checking the device manager to see if there are any driver issues after all that is a good idea too!
You really only need to focus on drivers if everything's running smoothly after your initial setup. Sometimes it can work fine without extra tweaks.

Updating the BIOS sounds a bit daunting, but I guess it’s necessary! Just worried about messing it up.
