I'm trying to assist a friend with their Lenovo laptop that's just two months old. When I turn it on, it only displays a black screen. I've attempted to access the BIOS using the F2 key but haven't had any luck. I also tried the other function keys and even connected it to an external monitor, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it to boot from a USB drive instead?

F12 typically lets you boot from a USB drive, but since you can't access the BIOS, that’s not a good sign. You might be facing a serious issue with the laptop.
I'm getting just a black screen too, with no response when I press any keys.
