I've heard that Pop OS is one of the best Linux distributions for laptops, especially for gaming laptops. However, my experience has been quite the opposite compared to other distros like Ubuntu and Linux Mint, which seem to perform much better. I'm feeling really exhausted from trying out different distributions. Does anyone have tips on how I can improve my experience with Pop OS?

Since all these distros come from Ubuntu, they share a lot in common. I personally stick with Ubuntu LTS Pro unless there’s a strong reason to switch because it’s stable and reliable.
I see a lot of people mentioning Pop OS as a top pick for laptops, but can you share more about what specifically you prefer in Ubuntu or Linux Mint? What features do you find lacking in Pop OS?
Don’t forget, Linux is quite customizable! If none of the hundreds of distributions suit your needs right now, you might want to explore creating your own setup. Check out Linux From Scratch for some fun and flexibility.
I've had a similar experience with Pop OS. It's recommended a lot, but when I tried it, it didn’t live up to my expectations at all. What made you leave Ubuntu and Mint in the first place?
I was hoping to avoid the hassle of partitioning since my storage is minimal, and I thought Pop OS could help streamline that.

I miss features like hybrid graphics support and the ability to adjust screen brightness using function keys. Honestly, these annoyances make me want to switch back to Windows and just use Linux for my computer classes.
