Suggestions for a Gaming PC Build Under $1000

My cousin recently admired my new PC and now wants one of his own for his upcoming birthday. I need to put together a list of parts for a gaming PC that suits his needs. He enjoys a variety of games, especially competitive ones like CSGO and Valorant, so I want to make sure the build is optimized for gaming. Just a heads up, I live outside of the US, so I can't use Microcenter or their great deals. Any help would be appreciated!

Don’t forget about peripherals! Make sure to budget for a good monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Look for a monitor that's at least 144Hz for the smoothest gaming experience, and always check reviews for good response times.

Check out this build: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RMXVgn](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RMXVgn). It allows for plenty of future upgrades and hits the sweet spot for gaming performance.

For a budget of $900 to $1000, I recommend going with an AMD processor paired with a GeForce GPU. A non-SSD 2TB hard drive is a solid choice. There are a lot of builds in that price range you can find on YouTube that can give you more ideas!

Consider this setup, which hits the recommended specs for new games and definitely handles esports titles with ease: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fZqrnp](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fZqrnp). You could even look at the AM5 platform if you can stretch the budget slightly with a 7500F/7400F chip, which isn’t too expensive for RAM and motherboard.
