I'm planning a 5-hour road trip and will be transporting my PC. I've got a Hyte Y70 case and a Phantom 7900XTX GPU mounted vertically. Should I go ahead and remove the GPU for the trip, or do you think it will be fine as it is?

If you still have the original box for your GPU, I'd recommend putting it in there during the drive. The PCIe slots can be quite fragile, and it never hurts to play it safe!
When I moved to another city last year with my PC, I thought it would be fine, but I decided to remove the GPU. Good thing I did because I hit a bumpy stretch of road and it saved me from potential damage! Just a few minutes of effort made me feel way more at ease.
Taking it out might just give you peace of mind. Honestly, it takes longer to read responses here than it does to uninstall the GPU!
You can't predict how your drive will go. It's a small hassle to remove it, but better safe than sorry! A sudden stop could really mess up the GPU.
If you're just keeping it in your car for a regular drive, it should be okay. But keeping the PC well-secured is key! You never know what bumps or potholes might be waiting.
Totally agree! It's not worth the risk when these GPUs are so pricey. Even if you're a careful driver, road conditions can change unexpectedly.
